Hana's Story...
am a nine month old female black and white kitten with big round eyes and everyone who sees me thinks i am adorable. I am a bit shy at first, but once I'm comfortable with you (doesn't take long) I'm affectionate and thrilled when you're home and around; love to be petted; mew; am very sweet and delicate--very much a sweet little girl; very innocent and placid; purr easily; gets along with the other two cats in my foster home; just a darling girl who loves affection; likes to play with toys;my markings make me look like I'm wearing a mask and I have two black spots on my back, otherwise all white with a black tail; barely shed and like being brushed. I have all my shots. Please call Linda to meet me at 917 319 4304

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hana, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
