Bailey's Story...
Bailey is an adorable and lively 2 year old Corgi. He has lots of energy and with the right family would be a very nice addition to your household. He knows his basic commands and will even balance a treat on his nose! Bailey would really thrive in a home with people that are familiar with the breed and are willing to work with him a bit on obedience. He truly is a wonderful dog but has a small nipping problem which needs to be addressed. Though his old owners adored him they were unable to keep him because of the nipping. Because of this he should not go to a home with small kids, cats or other small dogs. A single dog household would do just fine, especially with an owner who is just as strong minded!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Hedgesville Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Hedgesville, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Hedgesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hedgesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hedgesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hedgesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
