My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Misty is an approximately 16 week old female kitten(D.O.B.: Aprox 03/14/2010). She was found in the middle of the road on Father's Day. Both of her eyes were matted shut from drainage resulting from eye infections, and flies were swarming around her. She was only hours from death. She was so weak from starvation, she barely struggled when captured.

Miraculously, Misty has tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV. She has been treated for ear mites, intestinal worms and fleas. She is currently undergoing treatment for the eye infections. Her right eye was so badly damaged from the virus, that it may need to be removed. However, a veterinarian is following her progress, and all treatments will be covered.

Misty is a mild-mannered kitten who loves being snuggled. She also has an affinity for balls! She loves to bat them and chase them all over the house. When she is not being lavished with love from her foster family, she likes to find a quiet corner where she can curl up and cat nap.
