My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a very calm and relaxed 47 pound boy, who loves to sit by his handler, and enjoys being petted. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with all who approach him. Rusty enjoys going for walks and is excellent on the leash; he doesn't pull at all and stays next to his handler at all times. Rusty is very affectionate with people he knows and will lean up against you and loves to cuddle. Riding in a car was a brand new experience for Rusty and the first time he did it he was pretty nervous. However, he quickly got to see that there is nothing to be afraid of and he was an obedient passenger. Rusty seems like he wasn't given a lot of luxuries in his life and needs a patient person to show him how great life can be when he is part of a family. For example, Rusty had never had a bath before and he was scared at first, but he soon learned how nice it is to get a warm bath and shampoo and now he loves being all clean! Rusty has lots of love and affection to give and is waiting for his forever home. Just 3 years old!
