NIKKI's Story...
I'm the newest little girl at the shelter. This really nice man found me abandoned in his garage and wanted me to have a nice forever home. Then he heard about the luxury living conditions at the Blue Moon Cat Shelter and gave them a call. So now I'm safe, out of the heat and have a nice soft bed in the air-conditioned room and all the premium food I could ever want. This place is a kitties dream come true. I'm about 6 months old, I can use the litter box all by myself and have been given my FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shot to keep me healthy. I've also been spayed. Give my new shelter mommy a call at 479-677-3021 and take me home for only $50

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NIKKI, a Witter Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Witter, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Witter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Witter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Witter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Witter paves the way for another one to be saved.
