Elvis's Story...
Elvis - 2 year old purebred male Miniature Schnauzer. Believe it or not Elvis is alive and well and making personal appearances at the Redondo Beach Petco on Saturdays! Elvis was one of 10 schnauzers that were abandoned at a vet clinic by a breeder after the breeder had lost her home. He spent 6 months at the vets office before being relinquished so he could be rehomed. Elvis gets along well with other dogs. Named for his singing ability (he will howl at sirens)... he can be a little vocal at times too. We believe Elivs and Monkey (below) are sibliings. Elvis is approximately 16 pounds.

If you would like to inquiry about this dog, the best way is to email us at msfrescue@gmail.com as we can not return all phone calls.

Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. See Our Adoption Policies for more details on our adoption policies.

Our Adoption Fairs are held every Saturday at the PETCO located at 537 N. PCH Redondo Beach CA 90277 from noon-3:30pm. It is best to come before 3:00pm to allow time to visit with the dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Redondo Beach Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
