My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little dog that was found wondering the streets, spent five days at the pound with no one adopting him and quickly found himself on the kill list. His wild hair and bouncy, energetic personality sparked the name Bowie after the singer David Bowie.

Bowie is certainly no worst for the wear and thankfully doesn't seemed phased by these recent events in his life. All Bowie cares about is playing, running, toys, playing, running, toys and of course attention from people.

Bowie is looking for a very active home where he can burn off his energy every morning. Even though Bowie is only about 7 pounds he can hang with the best of them and would love to go on hikes, romp at the dog park and have some active dog friends in his new home.

Like most "rockstars" Bowie doesn't appear to know any rules :) and could use some basic obedience classes. We are working with him on walking nicely on a leash and sit but Bowie is confident that there are much more important places to go and things to do than working on his manners! :) Typical terrier! :)

Bowie is an affection boy and his cute "flip floppy" ears will bring a smile to your face. And if that doesn't make you smile, Bowie's goofy, playful personality is sure to brighten your day!
