Tank's Story...
Here are some photos of Hank, our newest foster in Maine. He is two years old, healthy, and loves to play. He was surrendered because he didn't get along with an older male Australian Cattle Dog that his owner also had. His former owner did a lot of obedience training with him. The owner did not know how he would do with a female dog so I ideally I think he should go to a family without other animals FMI contact Kim Clifton

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Palmyra Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in Palmyra, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in Palmyra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmyra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmyra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmyra paves the way for another one to be saved.
