Sofie's Story...
Meet Sofie (Danny's sister), she's a darling Aussie mix, not sure what she is mixed with. She is sweet and adventurous and full of mischief like all puppies! We are not sure of her birth date so we have given her one of 5/29/10, this make her almost 7 wks old. Sofie is up to date on vaccinations (will need more along with a rabies at 4 mo), she will be spayed prior to placement and is on heartworm and flea preventative. She will be available to go to her new home after she turns 8 wks old.

Sofie is fostered in Palm Bay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sofie, a Orlando Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
