Skip's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Skip's Story...
Skip is an extremely friendly, affectionate, playful, and loving, one-year-old, 31-pound, black and white Spaniel/Border Collie-mix looking for a loving home. Poor Skip got hit by a car. His left rear leg was shattered and had to amputated. That was only two weeks ago, and he has adjusted quickly and beautifully to his new situation. No need to feel sorry for Skip. He is happy, full of kisses, knows how to sit on command, rolls over for belly rubs, and takes treats gently. He is wonderful and submissive with other dogs; seems good with small animals, and sleeps beside his foster moms bed. He is housetrained, good in the car, and can even climb stairs. Skip is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm-tested, and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact his foster mom Sue at sn_personaltraining@comcast.net or 773-419-2772. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the Trio Animal Foundation who is sponsoring Skip. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skip, a Chicago Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
