Skittles's Story...
Skittles is as pretty as a rainbow!!

Skittles is an affectionate 7 week old tabico baby that loves to be with you. She is so pretty with her mix of grey tabby stripes, light orange hi-lites and little white mitts. Skittles is very social and will gladly follow you around just purring as she rubs against your feet and legs. You will often catch Skittles playing with her toy mice or napping in the sun.

Skittles is playful and intelligent and has grown up around cats and cat-friendly dogs. This kitty is spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. The adoption fee is $95 (or adopt 2 kitties for just $150—they are so happy in pairs). There is a 2-week trial period to make certain you've found a good match.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skittles, a Greensboro Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
