Lulu's Story...
Whoo-hoo, it’s me, Lulu! If there’s action and excitement to be found, I’m there! I’m a curious cat who loves to be where all the activity is. You can always rely on me for a kitty head-butt, a reminder that there’s this pretty little kitty right here who would LOVE to be pet! Ooh, do you have toys? With me, the novelty never ends! I L-O-V-E to S-T-R-E-T-C-H out tall on my back legs and see what’s going on—up periscope! When tired from a full day of exploration, I’ll snuggle up with my sister, Ethel. How in the world do you tell us apart? Want to know our secret – it’s all in the coloring on our furry faces. I’m mostly grey while Ethel has more tan on her dilute calico countenance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
