Opal's Story...
Update (4/10/06): Opal and Pearl are 6 month old bonded sisters who may be placed separately or together. If placed separately, they will do best in a home with another canine companion to help them over their initial separation.

Opal is more outgoing and playful, and quick to let you know when she hears unfamiliar sounds. Pearl is quieter and extremely gentle and loving, and would be happiest curled up next to you for some kind words and tender petting. These girls have done very well with children of all ages at adoption events and are small dog and cat-friendly.

This pair has lovely natural tails to always let you know how happy they are, and are spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Wouldn’t you love to share your home with these wonderful girls?

(Age 14 weeks update): The smallest of the Gems at 27 lbs. and 14 weeks, Pearl should have been named Dora the Explorer! Pearl is energetic and inquisitive, and races, leaps and bounces everywhere she goes. Also clearly the brightest of the litter, Pearl would make an excellent agility dog. But sit down on the floor, and Pearl is immediately curled up in your lap. She may never understand that she is not a 10 lb. Yorkie! Pearl is fully paper-trained and crate trained, is learning to sit for a treat and walk on a leash. Pearl has her natural tail that cannot be docked.

Opal is fully vaccinated and has been spayed for her inside-only adoptive home. Previous Rottweiler experience is a plus.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opal, a Cedar Creek Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Cedar Creek, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Cedar Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
