My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Angel! Barely a year old, her owner was moving to Idaho and brought her to the vet to have her euthanized, so the vet called Cat Rescue. Angel was so grief-stricken that she wouldn't come out of her carrier except at night to eat and use the litterbox. After a couple of weeks, we called the lady (who was moving in a few days) and asked if she could please visit Angel ... As soon as Angel heard her owner's voice, she hurried out of her carrier and was so excited and happy! The owner petted her, and then unexpectedly and for the first time ever, Angel slapped her owner so hard it drew blood, and she squalled loudly. BETRAYED! She was telling her owner that she was angry to be left in this strange place ... The owner left town, and Angel was difficult to deal with, still angry and fearful. But now she can be quite sweet though sometimes will slap and cry as though she remembers the injustice and holds you responsible.. She seems too fearful to be in a huge house or with other, more aggressive animals, and would do better alone in a quiet home so she can calm down and change from Devil Girl back to Angel! She has a startled look on her face that's pretty funny. Would you be the person she trusts and loves again? Her previous owner was elderly, quiet and calm, and she kept her in her bedroom since she was living with family. Come see her and admire her ticked, beautiful tawny fur and GIANT eyes!
