July 2010~ This poor baby! Sammie was adopted when she was 5 or 6 years old but just returned through no fault of her own. SO sad for her. Her "family" is moving and "could not" (or would not) take her with them.

Sammie is now 10 years old. She is housetrained and good with other dogs. We are unsure about cats but Sammie is calm and quiet. She loves being indoors and out but needs to be inside a fence or leashed at all times when she is outdoors or she will take off and follow her nose like any good hound dog will!

Sammie is a very, very sweet dog. She needs a quieter environment in which to retire. She does not deserve to be bounced around at her age, not that any dog does!
