Mia's Story...
an you believe no one wanted me? When first coming to the clinic I was really shy and scared. I'm coming out of my shell. Now I stand tall and am really excited when I see my people for paws family. I'm a really smart girl too! I started learning sit in no time. I'm still working on the leash training because I would rather just run around and be free so a fenced in yard may be best for me. I get along great with other dogs. I like to get petted and be shown that I'm loved. Who couldn't love this cute face! If you think you could, please contact Ashley at ace_04@live.com. Or Linda at s.hoefing@mchsi.com or give her a call at 712-246-3236. I'm up-to-date on shots and will be altered upon adopted. We are willing to travel

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Shenandoah Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Shenandoah, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Shenandoah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shenandoah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shenandoah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shenandoah paves the way for another one to be saved.
