Pixie--adopted!!'s Story...
This adorable little dobergirl is Pixie! Her pictures do not capture how small and petite she really is. She is black and tan with natural ears and a docked tail and is even smaller than her brother, Cooper. Pixie and Cooper arrived at SWODR due to financial issues in their human family, where they were unable to care for them any longer. Pixie shouldn't be around very long as she is very cute and sweet and loves attention. She gets along well with other dogs and just pawed at the cats when she met them (she could probably use a little more exposure training with cats). Although Pixie and Cooper came in together, they can be adopted separately. Once you meet little Pixie, you want to to take her home with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie--adopted!!, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
