Alec--adopted!'s Story...
This is Alec! He is a very sweet croppped and docked black and tan doberboy. Alec was a stray that wondered onto a farm where some very nice people found him and gave him some food. They cared for him for a couple weeks but were unable to keep him due to space limitations. He did very well with both of their female dogs and just wanted love and affection; he is a true leaning doberboy. Unfortunately, Alec was found to have heartworms and will need to be treated before going to his forever home so he won't be available until the end of September and as long as he is heartworm negative. Heartworm treatment is very expensive, if you would like to contribute to Alec's care, please visit our website and click on the donation icon. Let's help get this boy healthy and find him a great home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alec--adopted!, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
