BRETT's Story...
Brady and Brett, came into the shelter together, we think they are brothers, the LR lady saw them there on their last day and could not resist their adorable charms.
They came to us in real bad shape, covered in ticks and desperate for some TLC and a bath, they are adorable little chaps who love everyone and get along great with other dogs. They are a little unsure of leash walking but with some baby talk and lots of assurance they are slowly gaining confidence and getting better. They constantly wag their tails and are such happy little well adjusted sweet little guys seeing as they had such a bad start.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRETT, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
