Wrigley is a wonderful pure-bred Yorkie male who is about 4 years old & who weighs about 5.5 lbs. We rescued this little cutie from a local So. CA shelter where he was in terrible condition. Wrigley had been found in a field, covered from nose to tail with foxtails. They were even embedded in his eyes. We rushed him to the vet where he he received the care he needed. He was also treated by the animal eye specialists & his sight was saved because of the immediate & proper care he received. He was hospitalized for over 1 week. Wrigley is happy, loving, smart, & great with other small dogs. He loves everyone - 2 & 4 legged, including cats. He's a typical, terrific Yorkie. He's being crate trained by his foster Mom, & is also learning how to sit & stay. He loves the park & going for walks. He's an affectionate little guy & loves to cuddle. Wrigley is also great in a dog bag & riding in the car. He's not completely potty trained so he'll need to continue working on this at his forever home. He'll come with some belly bands that will prevent him from having an accident in the home until he's totally house trained. Wrigley is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, & had a dental performed by our vet. He's a wonderful companion who will make his new human(s) very happy. He would be happiest in a home that has at least 1 other small dog or cat, & where his human is only away a short time. Wrigley's adoption donation is $380, & includes his microchip registration. Please read our adoption guidelines below to determine if you qualify to adopt from us. If you do, & you can provide Wrigley with the kind of home he needs, please email us for an application. Thanks for choosing to adopt!
