These pictures stink. They do not show how pretty Frannie really is. I will try to get better pictures.
Frannie was found in a "dump box" with her buddy Niko outside of a high kill shelter in MD. A dump box is a big dumpster looking box where people toss unwanted pets. Young dogs are mixed with old, healthy with sick, friendly with aggresive. A dog may not survise the dump box depending on what kind of dog is in there when they get dumped.
Anyway, Frannie was dumped in the box and then picked up by animal control. She was brought to the shelter where understandably she was scared to death. Frannie wanted to trust and love people and she would tentatively approach the front of her kennel when people walked by.
No one was interested in adopting this beautiful girl, so she was scheduled to be killed
I rescued her and Niko the day they were to die. Frannie has been staying at a boarding kennel since May. She loves the peopel who work at the kennel and all the visitors who come in with their pets. BUT poor Frannie, she wants a home and family to call her own. She is getting sad at the kennel and is starting to become depressed. Frannie appears to get along with other dogs, likes people, is good on her leash. She is house trained and crate trained.
Frannie is a fawn colored, 3 year old APBT. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Frannie is a hefty girl weighing about 75 lbs.
