My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nina came in with Hoss and is also undergoing heartworm treatment. In her photos, her fur is a bit spotted. Chocolate labs, especially, tend to get burnt orange fur from being left as an outdoor dog. However, she looks spotty because she is losing all of that orangey fur and she is growing a beautiful chocolate shiny coat. Nina is such a pretty girl, but will be striking once her coat is back to where a well cared for chocolate lab girl's coat should be. She also has that full lab look, of course only when the camera is not on her, but we believe her to be a purebred chocolate lab. Nina is about 4 years old and is on the bigger side for a female lab weighing about 70lbs. She absolutely loves human attention and melts when her foster mommy woos over her. She can be playful, but mostly just likes to hang around with her human. Nina would be classified as a medium energy girl and will do good curled up on her very own dog bed or romping the neighborhood with her family on arm. She is sweet and deserves the great life that she will get with a wonderful family. She does know a few basic commands, but will benefit from further training. She appears to be house trained, crate trained and does okay on lead. Nina will be heartworm negative, she is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and is micro-chipped.
