My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie: 2-4 yr old chocolate female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 12", 13 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Maggie is a beautiful and graceful girl. She was turned in to the shelter because her owner was getting a divorce and could not care for her any longer. In the shelter she was very timid and scared but it hasn't taken her long to enjoy the comforts of being in a home again. On her first night, Fancye our other foster welcomed and comforted Maggie by getting in the crate with her and laying next to her. That sweet and gentle kindness helped Maggie quickly overcome her fear and now the two dogs play chase all around the living room. She will plop down in a play bow with that little tail going 90 miles an hour and entice the other dogs to chase her or she will grab a squeaky toy, toss it into the air and run. When she isn't playing she likes to lay on the back of the couch and look out the window or will curl up next to me on the couch. Walking on a leash was new for her but she has quickly caught on that the leash means a walk and she loves to walk. House training was also new but she caught on and hasn't had any accidents! She is such a sweet little thing and will make someone a special companion. Are you looking for a dog like Maggie?
