Diesel is a sweet 4 year female Meyers Parrot. Myers Parrots are a short and stocky African parrot averaging about 8 to 10 inches in length and are known for being a relatively quiet bird who love to take baths! Meyers are also known for being very playful and energetic. Environmental enrichment is important and they should always be provided with toys, wooden blocks that can be chewed, and branches from non-toxic trees. Diesel is not quit sure about being petted yet, but she will cuddle with you all day long. Deisel would do very well with a calm family as she is kind of on the timid side. She knows how to do the kissing sound and will touch your nose with her beak. Meyers Parrots can live up to almost 30 years in captivity, so whoever adopts this baby is going to get a lifetime of love!
