Nick's Story...
Meet Nick! Are you looking for a little dog who can add some fun and companionship to your life? Then look no further than Nick! This 3 year old Lhasa Apso mix has been given a second chance at life and is ready to find a forever home. With the trademark soft coat of a Lhasa and wonderful expressive eyes, this is one unique dog. And it doesn’t stop with his good looks! Nick has the heart and personality of a big dog all contained in a little dog frame. He is learning some basic commands and will do anything for a treat or a stuffed toy. He would be great at agility or learning tricks. Most of all, Nick will be a great companion.

Nick loves people and other dogs too. In fact, he’d love to have a canine brother or sister in his new home. This little boy loves to explore and chase things. Due to this adventurous spirit, he would love to have a fenced yard where he could play. Most of all, Nick needs a family who will keep him safe and give him the love that he so deserves. In return, he promises to be a loyal companion for years to come.

If you would like to give Nick his second chance, contact his adoption consultants, Mike and Jen, at 216-702-3632 or You can also visit Nick at the shelter. He will steal your heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nick, a Berea Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Berea, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
