Puppies's Story...
Meet the newest pack of puppies to take up residence at ARF! A mix of Pointer and maybe Retriever, these three little cuties are ready to start finding forever homes. Born in early July, they are typical little puppies – inquisitive, playful and full of life. They would love to find families who will teach them all about being good dogs and maybe even enroll them in puppy school. Most of all, they need families to love them. These pups will make great companions for years to come and return the love ten-fold.

Still a bit young, they will be ready to start meeting their new families on 8/28. So, if you would be interested in adding one of these pups to your “pack,” contact their adoption consultant, Debby, at 440-364-1286 for more information. All of the puppies are in foster homes, so she will set up a visit when they are ready!

** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppies, a Berea Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Berea, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
