Ruff Ruff! My name is Emily
|Breed:||Australian Shepherd Mix||Color:||Merle||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)||Sex:||Female|
I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
This little beauty is Emily; her exact age is unknown, but we estimate between 5-6 years old. She said it's not nice to ask a lady how old she is. Emily is a beautiful Blue Merle Australian Shepherd that was abandon at the shelter. She is DEAF, but appears to see just fine. She is a nice smaller sized dog, approximately 30-35 pounds.
We noticed that one of her back legs appeared to be abnormal at the joint, which does not appear to bother her with pain. After doing blood work, we have found that she has Valley Fever, which could have caused this problem. She is currently on Valley Fever meds. Emily will need a family that will care for her and provide the necessary vet care when needed.
Emily's foster family reports that she gets along with all the other dogs, that she has doggie manners, rarely barks, is housebroken and that most of all she is very loving and affectionate. She is a beauty and would love that forever home with loving owners.
