Duke's Story...
Ok, I'm not gonna lie, I am an absolute hoot! I am a goofy, sweet, loving and always entertaining boy with a delightful temperament and a weakness for ladies in high heels. My bro Turk and I love to get out on the town and and we are ALWAYS a total hit! The ladies just eat up our Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb routine!
I am a five year old pekinese who is positively a delight and I want very much to go to a home with my brother because we are best buds. Don't think that means we don't love our people snuggles because we bounce just as high as these short little legs will let us when we see our friends but the nice thing is we have an instant friend so if you need to work during the day we will never be lonely! We both love other dogs and do great with kitties too!
So I know Turk isn't a prom king, you know I got the looks, but cut him a break - he lost his eye in a tragic snowboarding accident when he tried to take the rock cliff too late in the season and the rest is history.

We are an awesome duo full of fun and spunk! We are living at the pixie project so come visit us today!
we are fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Our combined adoption fee is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Portland Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
