Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Raine is an extremely gentle one-year-old, female, 35-pound, crystal blue-eyed, deaf, white Australian Shepherd looking for a loving home. She is looking for a home with another dog with whom she can model her behavior after. She is extremely timid and shy, but, also playful, wiggly, loving, snugly and docile. She loves to play with her toys, and also enjoys being a mellow lap dog. Since she was born deaf, here’s a web site to learn more about how to train deaf dogs: http://www.deafdogs.org/training/ They can learn to follow hand signals, and rely on their sight and smell more heavily. Raine is crate-trained, housebroken, and great with other dogs. Prior to coming to rescue, this country bumpkin had never been on leash before, so she is very tentative and resistant but learning. She is very quiet in the home, and would love a fenced-in yard to run and play. She is healthy, /spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. To meet and possibly adopt Raine please complete an adoption application at http://www.projectrescuechicago.org/adoption-application/ You can follow up on your application and ask additional questions by contacting info@projectrescuechicago.org or 312-623-0939. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the dogs of PRC.
