Low Ridin' Ramone's Story...
Don't let these short legs fool ya! I am a spunky dude! The name is Ramone and I am a fun, playful and very very cuddly lab./basset?? mix. I use the question marks because that is our best guess! I am about one year old and I weigh about 25 lbs. I am a fun guy and I love to play with other dogs. I have a goofy and fun personality and I will be very devoted and loving to my new family. I love to go for walks and play fetch and I am always down to play tag with the other doggies in daycare.
I can be just a bit shy at first with new people so I would love a home with kids over 8.
I am a fun kid and will make a fantastic companion - for a lucky home - especially if you have another doggie because I am so into my canine friends here at the pixie project! But if not that just means more cuddle time for me!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $180

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Low Ridin' Ramone, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
