My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome, Nicole. She is a loving 4 year old Norwegian Forest who is 4 paw declawed. Her owner gave her up due to their severe asthma attacks. She loves to be petted and purrs loudly. Nicole would do best as the only cat or with a non aggressive, laid back cat. She is completely vetted, combo tested negative, spayed, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Nicole, please email us at ccrescue614@yahoo.com and we will send you an application to fill out.

We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats they are in private homes for foster care. This is policy and no exception will be made.

We NEVER ship cats and declawing is not an option. We are an all volunteer organization so please keep in mind when you contact us emails are much quicker, phone calls we so our best to get back to you but it will take a bit longer.

As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply but if not living in your home we do not adopt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay for the adoption fee for the person adopting that is a good way to help them adopt a cat/kitten and we then screen them to adopt and you pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before. We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt but not as a gift.
