Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are not identical twins, but we suspect these tightly bonded sisters are litter-mates. Found near an abandoned chemical plant on the Texas Gulf Coast these girls had spent several days expectantly waiting for their family to come back for them. They reluctantly came home with the rescue volunteers who wanted to bring them to safety before a coyote or gator had them for lunch. We would like to place these two year old girls together because they are so bonded - they sleep curled up together every night. Mary-Kate is finishing heartworm treatment but amazingly Ashley tested negative. They are crate trained and would make good use of a doggy door. Both are very sweet. They are laid-back and quiet dogs. In this case, caring for two dogs would be just as easy as one. Mary-Kate is more outgoing and Ashley can be a little shy.
