James's Story...
James is a fabulous 2 year old Amer Pit Bull terrier found on the streets of the Bronx. With his gorgeous coat and wonderful temperament, it's hard to imagine how anyone could let this baby go. This baby is a LOOKER! His foster mom tells us that he is wonderful with her other dogs and has tons of energy! James would do great as a running buddy, or with someone who loves to play ball or with a fenced in yard. He is very healthy, loves all people and all dogs, is being neutered this week and has all his shots and microchip. To meet sweet baby James, please call or text his rescue at 917 689 8414 and THANKS for caring about a homeless pet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

James, a New York American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
