My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy “Bear” is an extremely handsome long coat, floppy eared, purebred German Shepherd. He is 4 years old. He was given up by his owners and dumped off at a high kill shelter. Luckily for Teddy we had room and brought him in from Sebring. Teddy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick prevention and microchipped. Unfortunately, Teddy did test positive for heartworms and we started him on our slow kill treatment. We will provide everything needed to properly care for Teddy.

Teddy gets along well with other dogs however he will squabble with another dominant male therefore more submissive dogs that won’t attempt to take away Teddy’s toys is best for Teddy. We are not sure how he is with cats and or small dogs. He is a big boy and will probably weigh 100 lbs once he puts gains some weight. He is extremely loving, loyal. He needs someone/family that can spend majority of the day with him. He is housebroken and has very good manners..
