Annie & Spooky's Story...
Hey there! Well, we're Annie and Spooky, and we've had a pretty crazy life! It started when we were a week old. Our mommy got killed, as well as a couple of our brothers and sisters! So Paige took us in and gave us bottles every couple hours and we grew like weeds. Finally, after she had bottle-fed us for a month or two, we got old enough to be "spayed", whatever that is, so they gave us some stuff to make us sleepy and we woke up with our tummies shaved! Then Paige found this fun home with a boy and a girl but then they had this thing called a "baby" and we got really excited and started trying to play! But apparently that's not good because they yelled at us and threatened to take our claws away - ouch! So we need to find a really good home where can play without hurting little babies. Maybe this time we can find a permanent home?? Please help us! We need to find a home together because even when we had nobody else, we had each other! We're about 8 months old and one of us is a tortiose shell and one of us is a calico. We're really friendly and cute!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie & Spooky, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
