My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaiser is a westie mix (perhaps with poodle) who was dumped in the country and turned into a shelter. He is about 2 years old and weighs 23 pounds. The shelter volunteer said "Kaiser is a very sweet dog with adults and respectful kids 10 and older. He has so many cute traits – he loves his toys (though he will pull the stuffing out of them). As soon as he’s out of his cage he runs for the toy bin and picks the biggest toy that he can find and loves to run around with it, put it in his cage and then goes back for another toy – he plays constantly with all of them. Kaiser does play well with other dogs, especially females. In fact he was found with another dog, Lucy, who was adopted and he hasn't been the same since so we are hoping for Kaiser to go to a home with a female dog. He ignores the shelter cats though he’d probably chase one if it ran. Kaiser's activity level is medium. He is house trained and kennel trained and walks well on a leash. A fenced yard is ideal for active terriers. Kaiser is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $250 adoption fee covers his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, flea/tick prevention and HomeAgain microchip.
