Phantom's Story...
Check out this chubby little face! It (and my ears) are about the only thing SharPei you'll see on me. Most everything else about me is pretty much German Shepherd. No matter, I turned out just perfect. I am just a baby and will need someone devoted to training and raising a puppy (we can be a lot of work sometimes!) But believe me- it will all be worth it. I am very very young, only 7 weeks old. So I am like an infant, I need lots of love and care so that I can blossom into a wonderful pet. 7 weeks old-7lbs. My adoption fee is $250 and includes; current shots, reduced cost neuter and $25 neuter rebate, 5 week Training Class, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phantom, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
