Jack's Story...
Hello, my name is JACK!

Jack is a beautiful example of the German Shepherd puppy. Very alert, very playful with a definite spunk in his step. He gets along with all the dogs at his foster’s home but does like to bark at the cat.

Jack was very sick when he came to us and quit eating. He spent a week on IV fluids and antibiotics. So, he is gradually gaining his weight back and is ready to go to his forever home. Jack is definitely an inside dog, he just likes to be outside with company. He likes to play, play, play then he will lay quietly by your chair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
