Fostered in South Carolina

SCF (Single Canine Female)

Black Hair with tan highlights - Big beautiful brown eyes - Recent pawdicure too!!!

Objective: Easy going girl looking for a Furever Mommy and Daddy who want a loving life long companion.....

Hobbies: Lying on the couch and in my dog bed + Going for relaxing strolls + Snuggling with my foster parents + Getting good rubs + Going for car rides.......

History: I was picked up in North Carolina where I was transported in a wooden box in the back of a pick up truck to meet a Yorkie Haven Rescue representative. My previous owner suddenly passed away and my remaining family did not want to keep me. I was an outside dog only for the past seven years...having to survive harsh winters and HOT summers. After six baths and a trip to the beauty shop, I finally became "Flea Free". My beautician says she thinks I am an Australian Terrier. You know what that means?!?! I have a cool Australian "Doggy Accent". Since my previous owners did not care for me properly, my Foster Mommy was scared that I might have some health issues. I was nervous at my first visit to the Dogtor since I am not sure if I have ever been before. The Dogtor took real good care of me and told me that I was a very healthy girl. No health issues here... WHEW!!!

Current Status: Settling in to my foster parents home... I love being inside the home. This thing called Air Conditioning is definitely "Dog-Heaven Sent". I am potty trained and have good manners. I will wait patiently for you to take me out or to give me my food. I am proving to my foster parents that I am a very loving and loyal friend and that all I want in life is to give and receive a little affection. I am not a high maintenance girl. However, I tend to not interact well with my foster fur-siblings when they start rough housing. Since I am used to being a loner, I am not used to having to share my personal space. I've nipped at them a few times hoping that they will leave me alone, so Foster Mommy says I would need to be an only dog. It is probably best that I not be around children either, as they tend to scare me.

Summary: If you like what you hear and like what you see, please submit an application for me!!!

Wait, did I just write poetry?!?! Ok... Now I need to add that to my hobbies.... :)
