Frankie's Story...
Frankie: 8 yr old black & rust male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 9", 7.5 lb. Shots up-to-date.
Frankie was released from a breeder just recently. His life was spent in a crate with a wire floor. His life up until now has not been a happy one but you would never know it by his actions. Frankie is a sweet heart, handsome and a very small male. He is black and tan with docked tail and cropped ears. He only weighs 7.5 lbs and stand about 8 9 inches at the shoulder. He has been checked by my vet and he has no obvious health problem. He has been brought up to date on all vaccines and had a dental. He did loose a few teeth probably because of the type food these dogs are feed. He is loving his food and is not aggressive in any way. He sleeps happily in a nice clean crate with a soft pad, has learned the doggy door but is not completely housetrained as yet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Florissant Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Florissant, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Florissant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florissant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florissant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florissant paves the way for another one to be saved.
