My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lance he is a 19 month old Brittany Spaniel. Lance is a sweetheart that wants to spend his time making his family happy. While he weighs 44 pounds, it is pure gentleness. He is learning how to give Brittany kisses and loves to cuddle with you. He is happy to spend the night in his crate and willingly returns when instructed. Lance is housebroken and has good indoor manners, though he has been know to take a blanket or pillow and relocate them to another place in the house.

While outdoors he loves to chase flying insects, with butterflies and moths being his favorite. He walks well on a leash with minimal tugging. Lance is currently living with two other Britts and an Afghan Hound and shows no signs of aggression, even at meal time as they all eat in the same room. He is good with cats, shows little interest but is fascinated with the family Cockatiel. Lance is gentle with children and would do well in a family with children of any age. His activity level is moderate, he enjoys curling up and taking an afternoon nap. Lance would love to get to his forever home and give them as much love as they are willing to give him. If you are interested in Lance please fill out our online adoption application at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org and come meet him soon!

History – Lance was pulled from an Alabama shelter so we do not know anything about his past. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative.
