Monty's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Monty's Story...
Monty is a handsome, well-behaved, mellow, polite, gentle, sweet, responsive and affectionate, five-year-old, 70-pound, black and tan Rottie/Lab-mix looking for a loving home. Monty was given up by a family when the parents divorced. He lived with two young children and another dog, Tucker, who is also being kenneled while waiting for a new home. Monty is the kind of dog I LOVE. He gives kisses, and is an all around fantastic family dog. He knows the commands sit, down and paw. He walks beautifully on leash, and loves to be bathed and groomed. He is also submissive, sweet and friendly with other dogs don't know about cats.

Monty is housebroken, very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact JJ at jojoann1c3@sbcglobal.net or 708-652-3475. He is being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a Chicago Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
