Shadow's Story...
This absolutely stunning girl is quite unique! Technically, she's a Shiloh shepherd rather than a German shepherd. Her coat is naturally long and plush (as you can see, she's had a summer cut!) and fabulous to run your fingers through. She's highly intelligent and extremely loyal to her people. Please do some research on this breed in order to understand her unique qualities a bit better. She needs to be able to live inside a home but have opportunities to play and exercise outside regularly. She's crate trained but cannot live in a kennel or pen -- we know this for certain! And a girl this well mannered and social should not anyway. She is wonderfully affectionate, very clever, and will be a fabulous companion for someone looking for a best friend! She gets along well with other dogs, loves people of all ages, and while she's kitty curious, she doesn't appear to be kitty aggressive. Please come meet this incredible girl and make a fabulous new friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Hendersonville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
