Phoenix's Story...
Phoenix and his sister Minnie Pearl were born to a stray mother cat and cared for by a kind older couple. They gave the kittens lots of loving care, before bringing them to SG4F. It broke the couple's hearts to have to let the kittens go, but they knew they had enough pets already to care for. Minnie Pearl and Phoenix are affectionate and playful, and already altered. They will make great pets for any home.

About Our Rescue Group...
We began as a TNR group in late 2001, but became a non-profit rescue group on January 14, 2002, with a 501 (c)(3) status. We rescue abandoned, stray, homeless cats throughout Pitt County, as well as many from Animal Control. We also do TNR for many cat colonies in and around Greenville, and provide for their daily feeding. We were instrumental in starting Pitt County's first low-cost spay/neuter clinic--Spay Today. We are an all volunteer organization, and all we do is simply for the love of cats.
