My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found out about Buster when we received a plea to help a dog that had been abandoned in a garage for over 2 weeks. His family left him and another dog (a chihuahua) behind in a locked garage when they were evicted from their house. The chihuahua was able to escape, but Buster being much larger was not. A concerned neighbor contacted everyone she could think of, but no one could or would help. In fact she was told that since he had food, water and shelter it was technically okay.

We agreed to help, but we needed help financially for his boarding and vetting. We created and chip in and thanks to our wonderful friends and supporters we were able to raise the entire chip in 1 day! With the help of a few amazing people we were able to pull him to safety. (Thanks Mike and Harley!)

Buster is now in our care, but not currently available for adoption. We believe that due to the abuse and neglect he endured he has some issues that he needs to overcome. We're working with him to help him reach his full potential. We thank everyone for their kindness and support in saving this boy! He's a special dog! We look forward to the day he's ready to find his furever home!!
