Katie's Story...
Hi people,
I’m Katie and I’m a darling little poodle girl of about eight pounds. All I want is to be able to be on a lap or near my special person, cuddling and loving for all I’m worth. When I came into rescue I had been dressed in a doll dress – and that was all that I had: no collar, no id and no one
who wanted to love me.

More than anything, I would like to be able to snuggle. I’m quiet and gentle, easy to be with, do not require long walks - and am happy to just be safe. As a senior dog (my foster mom thinks I’m about 11 or 12) I’m hoping to find someone who wants a companion so I can live the many years I have left in a loving home.

Please help me to find my forever home – you’ll be so happy that you did – and so will I! Thanks, Katie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a La Costa Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup)/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
