Sonny's Story...
My name is Sonny and I am looking for a special forever home. I am a very loving dog and just want to be with you. At first, I really didn’t know if I liked being around other dogs, but I’m starting to like my foster sisters. I think if there were other dogs in the house, I’d like them to be sweet and mellow and happy to let me be the boss. One important thing though, I can’t go to a home with cats. I really like to chase them and for some reason, my foster mom doesn’t think that’s a good idea.
I am very gentle and like being around kids. I love going for walks and just being with my family. I’m sort of a mama’s boy, especially during storms. The thunder and lightning make me nervous and I just want to cuddle up with someone to feel safe.
So, if you are looking for that special, loving Golden Retriever fill out an application and ask for Sonny.

Training: Housebroken, basic commands
Compatibility: Other dogs (Depends), NO, Cats NO, Kids OK

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Scottsdale Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
