Nick - VIDEOS's Story...
Nick is a strikingly handsome Manx who came to us from another rescue group and was soon dying to get out of his new-cat cage at the shelter and have a look around. He was brimming with energy and curiosity and he was rather put-out when he wasn't allowed to hop out of his cage. He retired to his perch at the back of the cage as if to say "Well then the heck with you!" to the volunteer who wouldn't let him out. Soon he was allowed out and as we got to know him we saw that he's crackling with character! He's a lively fellow with an almost restless energy. He isn't too crazy about living with other cats, and if they get in his face he'll tell them what he thinks about that. (He has actually settled in well and lives peacefully among his roommates.) Nick doesn't hold back his opinions and feelings. He's bright and impetuous. This lithe young dude gets respect from everyone, four-legged and two-legged. He's spunky, spicy, and sassy and, yes, he can be a loving little boy too! Nick will brighten the days in his new home, giving it new life without a doubt!

Nick was born around the middle of 2007.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nick - VIDEOS, a Maple Ridge Manx cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manx for sale in Maple Ridge, or seeking a Manx cat from a breeder in Maple Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Maple Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Maple Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manx breeders who help with Manx rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Maple Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
