My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was adopted by a really great family when I was a kitten, but when Grandma moved in they found out she was so allergic, they even had to remove the carpet from the house.

Guess you know the rest - I came back to the shelter at Altered Feral State. I was so sad to have to leave my little boy. We did everything together - played, slepted, had wonderful adventures every day.

Being at the shelter is very different than having my own home and family. It scares me a little to have all the other cats around. If another cat gets too close, I make a lot of noise to make them think I'm ferocious. I'm really not - it's all an act.

Now I'm hoping someone else will see my picture and want to make me part of their family. If you're looking for a beautiful Calico kitty that just loves to be loved and will be your best friend forever, then just give Altered Feral State a call - I'm sure I'm the girl you've been searching for!

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
