Dax von Malibu's Story...
Dax von Malibu is a stunning 16 month old classic German Shepherd. Dax is not looking his best and he's a bit embarrassed about his pictures. He was such a mess when we picked him up from the shelter that our vets had to shave him part way to be able to clean him up. But even with the 'lion-cut', you can still see what a gorgeous dog he is. And he's and absolute love-bug, he just couldn't stop kissing our volunteer. We couldn't get a good picture of him with one of the vet techs because Dax was more interested in giving him kisses than posing for pictures. Dax has an auto-immune condition and will most likely require medication for the rest of his life. But if he continues his meds, he should have no other issues. You just have to meet this young goofball and get some kisses, it will make your day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dax von Malibu, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
